Though it took many years for me to understand the facts of life, somehow I managed to bring about success. In my younger years I was a superb student ,but I was undecided about my future. Being the oldest of five half brothers and sisters contributed to the fact of me having little assistance from role models. Therefore, making mistakes were the leading factors shaping my personality, beliefs, and values.
As Forest Long once said, a mind is a terrible thing to waste. Astonished by the anatomy of the human body, I decided to major in biology and hopefully pursue a career in medicine. With neither my mother or father graduating from high school, this would surely be a remarkable accomplishment.
Though I'm not very fond of English, this class should be of great use. Reading and writing are neccessary skills for any occupation. Together they keep the world in accordance.
This should be a wonderful experience and I hope to gain useful knowledge during this course. Writing is a very effective way of communicating and I hope to improve upon pursuing my career. Hopefully everyone feels the same way and we can all learn something beneficial from this course.
Nice blog post Jarrell! Good luck to you in your pursuit to a career in medicine, I'm looking forward to a good semester!

ReplyDeleteI use to live in Monticello, so I am very familiar with McComb. It sounds like you are on the right track.
A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Although, you are a Biology major this course may benefit you in that degree because writing can be related in any subject. Good Luck with everything!!
